My Dog is Back, I Never Ran Him Over and Who I Am
After a long couple of days, my dog is back and I can tell the story. This could end up being a long post, so get a drink and relax.
So he’s back, he didn’t run away, and yes, he was stolen. After asking all of the people in my neighborhood if they had seen him, I decided to go put flyers up in town. My mom went with me and we were gone for a few hours… but it’s what happened when I got home that proves everything I’ve been saying.
As soon as we pull up to my house, the little old lady next door comes running out. She tells us that my dog is in the back yard and she saw some kid in a blue coat hook him back up to the line. Sure enough, I go into my backyard and there he was, safe and sound.
My neighbor said she didn’t call the police, because she thought the kid might have been one of my friends and he found him for me. WRONG! I have no clue who it was, but whoever it was, they didn’t stick around long enough to talk. Apparently he jumped in to a black Dodge Ram truck and took off. The truck had Missouri plates… I’m in Illinois and I don’t know anyone from Missouri who drives a truck!
My theory? A Cult with Chris member took him as a joke, got scared that I made such a fuss about it, so brought him back. If you’ve got a better idea I’d like to hear it…? Still don’t think Chris has a cult of followers? Just check out the comments people left me when I announced my dog was missing. Really nice people, heh…
Speaking of nice people, if you’ve sent me a nice e-mail over the past few days and I haven’t responded, I’m sorry. The cult members have been flooding my inbox with spam. To give you an idea, I received more than 250 spam e-mails in the past hour alone. My inbox has over 10,000 messages and I kind of stopped looking through them. As you can see, Cult with Chris members really have no life. Now to clear up a few things and make a few announcements…
I’m not going to be on a documentary.
Apparently this was yet another cult member harassing me. I was supposed to get a phone call today from them with more details, so when they never called, I called them. The number I was given went to an adult phone sex line. Nice. Well, they guy seemed legit when I talked to him for 15 minutes on the phone the other day. Oh well, just chalk it up to another point for team Kandice. How much proof do you people need?
Chris lies to make his show more interesting.
A lot of people have been yelling at me for “running over my dog” and they tell me I’m trailer trash. Well, the truth is that whole story was made up by Chris. I never ran my dog over. He was hit by a speeding driver last year and if I wouldn’t have seen it happen when it did, he would probably be dead. So no. I never ran over my dog’s head with a truck. Oh, and I don’t live in a trailer, I live in an average house with my mother.
A little more about me.
A lot of people are curious about who I am. Well, I’m obviously not going to give out my last name or address, but I can give you a small overview of who I am.
I’m 18 years old and still in high-school. I get straight A’s and I’m going to college in the fall for journalism. I have no brothers or sisters and I never met my father. I spend a lot of time reading books and watching movies. Sometimes I like to go hiking.
Anyway… that’s all I have tonight. I’m sooo tired and the past couple of days has drained me. So in summary, I have my dog, he was stolen by a cult member, Chris lies to gain more followers and make his show more interesting and I’m a normal person.

That’s unfortunate to hear about your dog, though I’m glad he’s back safe and sound.
Kandace (with a K), honestly, at this point I think it’s time to get the police involved. People don’t realize that what they’re doing to you is harassment. They also don’t realize that IP addresses can be traced, e-mail logs are always saved, and that the internet *is not anonymous*.
It starts with someone taking your dog, and then escalates from there. It’s been proven that these tools have nothing better to do than to try to make you miserable. How long until you get assaulted, raped, murdered, or something equally as fucking stupid?
Call the police, let them know what’s going on. Make it a big deal. They stole your dog, and these very same people are threatening your life.
To be honest I’m not completely sure that you’re a real person (as I found this site via ZenSix’s post on an internet marketing forum), but if you are it might be time for you to start treating these people like a threat.

Also, I want to point out that Chris can be held partially responsible for this from a legal standpoint. His continuance to mention you in his videos may be aiding the popularity of this website, but it may also be shifting the attention and focus to you. He can be found to be a contributing factor to your continual harassment, and if this goes to that extent, you can likely sue him for punitive damages and mental duress.
Also, the “culty” forum can also be shutdown. A quick whois of aimoo.com, as well as some reading into their TOS, and I’m left confident in that I can get a hold of the webmaster and get the culty forum shut down. It pays to have connections within the internet marketing industry

Back to the point. You said you put up flyers. Maybe someone saw a flyer, had found your dog and returned it. I assume your dog had tags. Every responsable pet owners dog has tags. Maybe thay read the tags. Maybe they were out with the dog and a nice neighbour of yours told them where the dog lived. Kandice there are MANY other explianations for your dogs return. Not to mention there are a ton of cars on the road with out of state plates. Not all of these are dog-nappers.
Kandice with a K, will you EVER get a clue? I think not. You are, after all, the only one who really beleived you were going to be in a documentary!

I’m glad your pup is back safe and sound.
I admire your determination, I really do. I can tell you’re going to win a Pulitzer for journalism because you are ready to not back down from what you believe. If a needed a strong-minded journalist in my corner, I know you’d be a tireless advocate.
I’m not going to put you down or anything…I had a feeling about the documentary being a joke, but that is none of my business. You’re a fish going upstream, against the current, and whenever you go against public opinion, you’re going to encounter trouble.
I don’t agree with your views, I actually think you’re very wrong. You have the passion of youth behind you - so I’m not going to try to lecture to you, because what others think is none of my business.
Anyways, I just wanted to respond to the ’spirit’ of the post by C.Spot - saying that Chris could be culpable for contributing to harrassment, etc… I think actually he would not be. SHE pursued HIS attention by sending photos and emails. If your emails were sent via Youtube, they are part of the public sphere and open to use by anyone. Also, if you recall the controversy after the Manson Family murders, when followers blamed the Beatles music, played backward, with scary hidden messages. Also, later on the murder of John Lennon had similar elements of hidden messages. The Supreme Court stated that artists cannot be prosecuted for what people do after listening to their music or viewing their art. It’s still the individual’s fault. So, you dog’s disappearance is the responsibility of the individual who took him - not Chris’, Jesus’, Satan’s, or the universe’s fault.
Take care of yourself - wishing you only good things - all in moderation Kandice.

I think the dog could be taken as coincidence, at least to the majority of the public, but if more things at that level of seriousness continue to happen then it is definitely because of this. This post brought one major thing to my attention; the fact that Chris lies. And telling people around the world that someone ran their dog’s head over with a truck isn’t a small lie. Obviously, judging by last week’s comments, it is something that can have a drastic effect on the way people are treated in the public. I’m not really sure where I stand on this issue, so I’m just rationalizing with myself here.
I’ve always found the show entertaining. But this is the largest chunk of evidence you’ve given that Cute with Chris has a negative influence on society, at least from my perspective.
Chris had better be ready to fight against you, for his sake…

I hate to blame Chris for any of this mess. I really can’t stand that “entertainment is to blame for peoples’ actions” point of view. I like to think that people are responsible for their own actions.
I do think that Chris may have under-estimated his influence though. And I definitely think he over-estimated some of his fans’ intelligence.
You did submit your photos to be put on the show and website. And it’s not really that scandalous that Chris makes stuff up to make his show entertaining. But you don’t deserve harassment.
Glad you got your dog back. I still think you should go to the police. If they won’t help you, go to the press. You can find out what happened to your dog and you can make the harassment stop. C Spot is right. The internet is not anonymous.

Charles was MUCH more made a target than you were. Charles’s response? Throw a fit, blame a non-exsistant “cult” for all the bad in his life, and try to tell everyone how much Chris sucks? NO! Charles made a very funny video and joined the joke. Charles gets it Kandice with a K. Obviously you do not!
You missed the perfect chance to turn this situation into something minor, but funny and instead started this site and became the CWC bitch.
Things would be nothing like they are now if instead of starting IHCWC you had started “The art gallery of crappy Kandice Pictures”. Shot after shot of nothing but blured out pictures of your dogs foot or your cats ear. That Kandice, would not have made you the CWC girl who just does not get it. That would have made you someone who can take a joke like Charles can!
Oh and because I just know the comment is coming from somewhere. I still don’t think having you dog taken is funny. Nobody deserves that. I’m still not convinced that anyone CWC was responsable tho.

You are wasting your time. “Cute with Chris” is a weekly show where he likes to talk about his perverted plastic ponies and advertise cute pets from all over the world, no matter their disabilities. But, you are perturbed because he didn’t show your cat and dog. BIG DEAL!
If Chris were to show every pet/human-pretending-to-be-pet picture that he recieved on his show, EVERY week, the show would last for hours, and it would probably be delayed a week while Chris attempted to insert all the pictures he was recieving into the show. Besides, why is it SO important for you to get your pets shown on a weekly podcast?
No person on Earth can reply to every email they recieve, especially if they are recieving thousands each day. It’s that simple. Waste your time on something else. <\3
