Chris Sent Me an E-mail
[THIS POST WAS PART OF AN APRIL FOOLS JOKE] Earlier today I was sorting through all of the spam and hate mail, when I came across something I had missed a few days ago… an e-mail from none other but Mr. Cult himself, Chris Leavins. Instead of telling you about it, I’ll just show it to you instead. The main points of interest have been highlighted in bold.
“My Dearest Kandice,
First let me say that I admire your determination, even if your efforts are going unnoticed by the majority of the world. But Kandice, must I remind you that I actually showed your picture (I’m being nice calling it a picture) to everyone? So not only do you send me more e-mails in a single day than any other fan in the history of the show, but you go out an create an “I hate cute with Chris” website after I did what you asked?
Kandice, have you seen the show? It’s entertainment, period. Now I realize that a large portion of my fan-base can get a little crazy sometimes, but a cult we are not. Sure, a lot of them would do anything I asked, even if that meant hurting another human being, but I never told anyone to hurt you. What you are witnessing is a backlash from fans, which you yourself created.
I just want you to know that I will not be referencing you in any future shows at all. Partially because you’ve honestly pissed me off with your site and partially because I don’t want to send any more hate your way. I’m being nice here, can you see that?
A word of warning though. Your site is damaging my reputation, whether you believe it is or not. I’m not going to threaten you with any legal warning, that would be childish and you would just be getting more attention. Instead, I’m going to ask you nicely to take down your site within 72 hours. If you don’t, I will reference you in my next show and I will send a mob of angry cat ladies your way like no man has ever seen before. If you think you’ve had a rough week or two since the first mention of your name, just wait to see what I can do. Kandice, if you don’t take down your site, you might as well find a cave to live in, because angry cat ladies aren’t called angry cat ladies for nothing.
Just get over yourself already and let everyone enjoy themselves.

That is absolutely awful. You insulted his stupid little web show, so he vows to ruin your life?!
Sorry, Chris. Your show isn’t as important as the life of a human being! My God… How can he do this to you, even if he doesn’t like you? Does he understand the sheer power he has behind him? He has MILLIONS of viewers who would jump off a bridge if they told him to!
If I were you, Kandice, I would seriously call the police and get yourself some sort of protection. If these psychopaths find out where you live, God knows what they’ll do to you.

It’s called fucking SATIRE… do you know what that is. i suggest you look past your perverted interpretation of cult and look up the word satire. honestly i can understand why Chris is mad.. you have made threats, and have liabled him with your claims based on no facts. Hey Kandice - after reading this letter, I just feel overwhelmingly embarrassed and sad for you. This is all getting out of hand. I am not going to support this growing narcissistic behaviour (being persecuted, everyone against you, center of the universe beliefs I feel you’re exhibiting). It’s like you’re hungering for ‘proof’ - any kind of proof. You’re bending things around to suit your intention. I have agreed with some of what you say, and I was interested in reading it - but I can’t condone your behaviour anymore by visiting this site.
